The fourth South Wales tionól will be on Saturday 3rd September 2011, with piping tutor ... and fiddle tutor Emma Sweeney.
Pipers Mick O'Brien and Alan Burton and fiddler Emma Sweeney lead workshops at the 2011 South Wales Tionól. From start to finish it was a weekend to remember with first rate hospitality, top class sessions and brilliant musicianship at the Celtic Night concert. We are really grateful to everyone involved for making the event so special. More to come including pictures and video.

The 3rd South Wales Tionól was held on Saturday September 4th. After the previous evening's curry and session, we had a day of piping and fiddle workshops tutored by Barry Kerr, Alan Burton and Emma Sweeney.
The highly regarded Celtic Night acoustic concert was held at Tylorstown church that evening, featuring Barry, Emma, Terry Klisczc on concertina and the singing of Meadhbh Nic Aindreasa. A taste of the show can be seen in the video below.
The evening and tionól concluded with the usual session up the road in the Ferndale Hotel. Thanks to everyone involved, come along next year on the first weekend in September for the 4th South Wales Uilleann Pipers Tionól.

A great time was had by all at the second South wales tionól, tutored by piper Tiarnán Ó Duinnchinn. Thanks to everyone who took part and helped out with the smooth running of the weekend.
